![]() Build that uses a lot of buffs, you can run 50 str 40 vit. Not needed for most pve when you have proper food and bandages. Often times I run 37 points and just take a potion with me or 3 alcohol.Ģ0 grit - sometimes run at 17 and just take potions to buff to 20.Ģ0 enc - sometimes higher or were I dump my left overs.Ġ surv - can be bumped to 10 or 20 even - reduces beads and poisons as well as heat and cold effects. 5 points of Str is another 5 damage.ġ0 agl sometimes it's 20 but dropped to 10 in full buildģ0 vit - can be bumped to 40 with bonuses. Without any buffs like drinking potions or alcohol my stats look like this Ĥ0 str- does not account for any plusses on weapons. 15 points in one stat is most likely being a little wasteful with your allotted points. You can get stat bonuses up to a +15 in str with some builds (there are ways to get around a +20 but it's pointless and waist stats) but you don't need that many points so adding in some vitality peaces makes a good solid build. We still don't understand the math on how I one shot my friend that was using heavy armor and a full health build.īest damage is a strength with strength armor. And I'm not sure but we think after you cross 100% you can actually make there armor work agents them. The winds katana kills a mammoth faster then any other weapon used properly because of its 100% armor pen. So you might no see the difference unless you really pay attention and are using proper full builds. Sunder is only effective on targets with high armor but most that have high armor don't have high hp. If you ever look at the damage numbers and watch the health of the enemies you can see how different weapons effect enemies. Or at least that's as much as we got it to hit. (Standard settings ratio all 1.0)Īlso if you are ever messing around and fighting players, if you catch them rolling away from you with the level 4 sweep it can hit 5 times. Most strikes in one sweep on a target was 9 (Dragon inside the warmakers tomb) took. Level 1- base damage - low Level 2 - +50% damage Level 3 - +100% damage Level 4- +250% damageĪlso it hits multiple times and the larger the enemy the more hits can happen. I haven't played in a few months so I don't know if they have fixed it.Īnd just checking but you know about the power levels of the katanas sweep right? You still get the damage bonuses from the added points. However, when we did the testing, most of the damage perks in the strength stat and the accuracy stat didn't actually add damage like they were supposed to, just the perks though. there is also a way to one shot people with a bow but it takes a full build vs someone else in a full build. On the winds katana, I have used that to one shot players with it's sweep. It's the best of both worlds, increases over all damage about 5-10% on most weapons, some more. There is a armor pen+damage mod that you can get the recipe for in the tomb of the warmaker.give 5 damage instead of 6 but also 12% armor pen instead of 15%. Sorry this is long but there is some good info I swear. However 32 damage and 100% penetration didn't seem to do as much damage as i thought it would I just know my hammer does more damage to Rock Noses than my spear/spike and the damage is higher on the spear, but the penetration is higher on the hammer. I'm not even sure how things are calculated. I thought the penetration would be more effective and adding damage would make it more effective. I'm honestly not that impressed with the damage it does compared to the two handed hammer I use when fighting rock noses. ![]() I also found a 7 Winds Katana and put a damage mod on it, but now I'm wondering if that was a mistake. ![]() So I'm wondering if peopel have done the math recently to determine which outcome is better? Most of these threads are super old and probably have out dated information. I've tried looking up which is better, but I can't find anything other than people talking about pvp and wrongly suggesting that NPCs don't have armor when they do. However, I'm wondering if more armor penetration would be better in PvE only. I just finally got my hands on a Musashi Black Blade Katana and I almost put a weapon damage mod on it. ![]()
